Documents required for registration:

identity card/driving-licence issued on or after 1st January 2001, address card; for non-Hungarian citizens: passport or residence permit

guarantee form for secondary school pupils in Debrecen
Loan privileges are suspended until the fines are paid and the books are returned.
Daily / yearly Reading Room Cards can be purchased for the local use of documents. ID card (passport and student ID for non Hungarian citizens) is required.

*The Library of Agricultural Sciences and the Library of Faculty of Education, Hajdúböszörmény have only daily tickets for reading room use. The Engineering Library does not have reading room tickets.
Library cards are valid in every library units of the University of Debrecen (Agricultural Science Library, Kenézy Life Sciences Library, Library of The Conservatory, Engineering Library, Arts and Sciences Library, Library of the Faculty of Education, Social Sciences Library).
Registration can be done in each UD library.
Registration is free for librarians, employees in museums and archives and for people over 70.
Do not give your library card to others to prevent unauthorized use. Please notify the library of any changes to your name, address, phone number or e-mail.
If your library card is lost or stolen, please report it immediately. Library patrons are responsible for all materials checked out on their library cards. Staff will deactivate your card so that it cannot be used. You are then welcome to apply for a new card, it costs 500 HUF.
